Nathan Brugman, Erik Risa, and Reid & Shelly Wildung have a genuine interest in show pig production and enjoy raising and showing pigs. All three grew up showing pigs in 4-H, FFA, and at open class shows. Each one has a background in judging livestock at different contests and county fairs throughout the Midwest, as well as serving as officials at National livestock judging contests like American Royal and North American Livestock International Exposition (NAILE). With their knowledge of the swine industry and the show pig scene, they’ve maintained an excellent herd of purebred Yorkshire, Duroc, and Spotted hogs that can be used for breeding stock or in the show ring. They’re dedicated to producing superb quality show pigs for any exhibitor!
Nathan grew up near Windom, Minnesota on a farm where he raised sheep and hogs. Nathan again lives near Windom, Minnesota and works as a grain inspector and travel throughout SW Minnesota and NW Iowa.
Erik is originally from Pipestone, Minnesota and now lives near St. Joseph, Missouri with his two children, Collin and Maddison. Erik has worked for the National Pork Board and now works at Boehringer Ingelheim as a sales trainer.
Reid & Shelly live near Madison, Minnesota and have the home farm for BRW Purebreds LLC. Along with their own Hampshire and Crossbred pig herd, Wildung Hamps and Showpigs, they stay busy farming, and spending time with their four kids, Tenley, Jaxson, Kenzie and Oakley. |
